Rayvolution
Rayvolution is an optical sorting machine equipped
with ultra high‑resolution cameras for inspecting product on the conveyor belt. The system is used for checking peeled and unpeeled tomatoes.
Rayvolution can reject products with colour defects,
blemished products, and foreign bodies, even if they are the
same colour as the good product. The product is fed onto the
inspection belt, which is used to stabilize it so that it does not roll.
The inspection area is clearly separated from the rejection area, in order
to avoid product splashes that could, over time, affect sorting accuracy.
Rayvolution is equipped with a pallet‑type waste rejection system with
electro‑pneumatic actuation. It can have a single rejection system or,
in 3‑Way mode, two rejection systems that separate completely unsuitable
products from those considered second‑grade.
